All of the above and while I'm trying not to ressent I wasn't invited, I would add Notebook and Sabrina (any of the versions would do, but I really like the last one),besides, the last one, has tips for New Year's - a French pixie cut, some nice blings...).
My wish is for you to experience the goodwill, excitement and wide-eyed wonder that make Christmas the most special time, and take it into the New Year.
Bridget Jones for me qualifies as horror movie (really! I know I'm alone in this but whenever I think about that movie I can't even remember Collin and Hugh in it), but you still can (SHOULD) invite me next time, and I'll bake the brownies while you're all at it ahahahahaha
"Sweet Home Alabama" is one of my favorites. I also love "New In Town" which is extremely funny to me because of all the Minnesota humor (which applies to Wisconsin as well!)
Oh, wonderful! So, I love: Notting Hill, You've got a mail, Chocolat, No reservation and other Italian movies! I wish you a Merry (and romantic) Christmas!
Sounds like so much fun! I don't get enough chick flicks in so this has inspired me to once the new year has come :)
Some of my favorites are probably Bridget Jones and Return to Me. Return to Me is one of the sweetest movies ever. It gets me every time!
And I have to tell you, I've never seen the Notebook before but I saw the trailer while watching another movie this last weekend and I cried and cried... and it was just the trailer. Who knows what will happen when I see the whole thing! :)
Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and your hubby!
you are adorable and I am jealous of all that movie watching. 15?!?! A few more of my favorites: When Harry Met Sally, Love Actually, and Sleepless in Seattle. RomComs are my favorite!
Some of my favorites: Chocolat, Love Actually, The Holiday and 'old school' My Best Friend's Wedding. And it's another genre, but I need to watch Home Alone in December. :-) Childhood memories with that one. Your movie marathon sounds great!
This is a better-quality article as they all are. I make fun of been wonder wide this an eye to some beat now. It’s great to receive this info. You are fair and balanced.
wow!!15 in 5 days ..its very impressive:).. with chocolates and tea!!even better:) i also love watching movies when my boyfriend is away.. have a good christmas Dionne:) x gini
GREETINGS from california. i believe i saw you and your husband at a mall in arcadia yesterday... and i wanted to tell you how much i enjoy reading your blog, but then i wasn't too sure if that would seem strange... anyway, happy new year :)
hmm actually I am not really into Romcoms... I do like Serendipity...ahm and Chocolate (does that count?) -- and that's where I throw the towel. I haven't really a clue about that genre- I have however watched entire seasons of series in couple of days last week..which amounts probably in around the same time spent in front of the tv-- sometimes its just nice to be a wee bit obsessive and indulge in it! Hope you enjoyed it!! xo
Greetings from Japan! Happy New Year! I wish I had enough time to watch those movies. Some I have seen before. I liked Pretty Woman and You've got mail. You can tell my generation. :D
I am a fan of all of the ones you posted, but some of my faves are Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and Fireproof. Super awesome movies for any season, any time, and any weather... Whats great about these movies is my husband is all about the romantics 'cause he is the most romantic person I know (more so than ME)... He has been so awesome in wanting to watch my faves and of course I let him choose some boy movies to break up the cloudiness for a bit ;-]

I love sour candy and dark chocolate (desserts are a weakness of mine). I love meeting new people and reuniting with old friends.
Leftovers for breakfast are the best, especially cold pizza; and I've learned that in life, you can never go wrong with a cupcake. I thrive on creating and sharing and being part of anything beautiful.
I love the beauty that God has made in this world and finding that beauty in the most unpredictable places.

haha that's so funny, surely you must be sick of all the romantic movies by now?
My favourite romantic movie is Up, Yes, the animation. It's a kids movie but I get all warm and teary every time I want it.
How fun! My favorite chick flicks are Ever after and while you were sleeping!
Serendipity and Love Actually are my top favorites.. I'm a hopeless romantic :)
Haha! I've seen all of those :-)
Here I was thinking I wasn't much of a chick flick gal!
Wishing you a most wonderful Christmas, Dionne! The Aussie weather is finally starting to warm up - yay!

haha, that is awesome! romantic comedies are my favorite genre. when harry met sally has got to be my favorite!
I like "While you were sleeping", and now we live just a few block from the apartment that Lucy (Sandra Bollock) lived in.
I bet, Dionne, that you were ready for some real romance by the time your husband returned.
Good for you, for not sitting around all lonely and mopey.
Fondly,
Glenda
Steel Magnolias is my all time favorite chick flick, followed closely by A Lot Like Love!
