Come on, people - it's food we're talking about here! That's like saying that poultry is not trendy to eat - it doesn't matter! It's FOOD!
The other day I met up with some girlfriends for some good, old-fashioned cupcakes.
I will always like cupcakes - they're cute, sugary and the perfect portion-size. So don't tell me that they aren't trendy anymore, because they will ALWAYS be in style to me!
(PS. The winner of the Emily Ann Designs giveaway is Emily. And no, it's not the same Emily that owns the store, hahahaha, they just have the same first name, hehehehe. Congrats!)

ALWAYS in style with me as well!! You'd fit in perfectly in Korea... cupcakerys are just "coming up" here in Seoul and the surrounding area. My favorite I've found so far is a cheesecake cupcake.
how can cupcakes be out? i know that its been a bit of a trend to have cupcake eateries.. but thats like saying coffee has been a trend and its going out... not going to happen!

I don't think cupcakes ever went out of style. I think paying $5 for a cupcake went out of style.
I like them a lot. However, icing to cake ratio is very important.
I'm not a huge fan of cupcake, but I LOVE little cupcakes, haha, I love it smaller so I can try more without feeling guilty *what? lol.

I don't believe in trends-- people should just do/wear/express/eat whatever they like when they like it and they'll be stylish. I keep reading that about cupcakes too and its like um, when will being a 6 year old at a birthday party at school NOT be an awesome memory? cupcakes forever

This looks like such a fun outing! Cupcakes are a little piece of heaven, contained in a scalloped, paper cup.

To me, cupcakes can never, ever go out of style. I recently saw a store in West Seattle that serves their mini cupcakes in egg cartons. I thought it was the cutest thing ever & I thought, Dionne would love this place when I was there! Lucky for me, Seattle is cupcake paradise with Cupcake Royale and Trophy Cupcakes.
How could anything so delightful as a cupcake be unfashionable? I love them no matter what?
Ha, ha, old fashioned, so 2009. Cupcakes are well worth being old fashioned for. If it is good, why leave it behind.
