Yesterday I met up with a friend at a sweet little cupcake store and chatted over little sugared cakes and vanilla juice.
I guess it's because sweets can be such a comfort food, and induces the desire to share it with others. At least that's how I rationalize all my social sugar intake, hehehehe.
This little outing inspired me. I got home and decided that I want to host a Texas Blogger's Cupcake Social. It will be in Houston, and I was thinking of doing it in May. Any Texans interested in coming? Or anyone not from Texas that might be in the area in May?

AHHH! I am beyond obsessed with cupcakes! I had a tier of them at my wedding in lieu of a cake! I wish I was a Texan!
Ya know, ever since the baby came around, I haven't been able to eat sweets! Anything with sugar is too sugary for me. It is really quite sad. I had better be able to have sweets again in the 2nd trimester, otherwise this kid is grounded for life!

Ohhh, I'd love to attend a cupcake social (especially if you'd be there)! But unfortunately, as you know, I am much too far away to attend. Maybe I'll make myself some cupcakes today to ease the pain!
I totally love a yummy cupckae here and there. My friends and I always go to Cupcake Royal and get a few small ones to share and coffee. It's just so indulgent and fun. Great idea, too bad I'm all the way up here in WA!

LoL, Vanilla Juice is just a figure of speech. It's like calling coffee "Caffeine Juice", I call everythng juice, hehehe.
