This week I have noticed a common theme among a lot of the blogs I have been looking at. They all have Santorini Fever. And rightfully so - it truly is a magnificent place, Brian and I went there for our honeymoon back in October. God really did bless us with my dream honeymoon. And now, looking at these posts from some blogs I visit like Mix Mingle Glow and Simplesong - I am reminiscing about how lovely our honeymoon was. Here are a few pictures for those of you who haven't seen any.
If you have never been to Santorini, or if you have and want to go again (who wouldn't?), here's your chance to win a free trip out there.
two words: jea-lous. Seriously, my dream vacation. Maybe I'll win the trip...the rules don't say you HAVE to be newlyweds (and I'd say 14 years and 3 children makes us PRIME candidates!) :) Thanks for the blog love (and the ridiculously gorgeous photos)!
Goodness. Sometimes it's hard to look at pictures like this and think that Greece actually LOOKS like that. Like instead it's actually a set or fake backdrop while Greece looks nothing like it.
Switzerland was the same way. It actually looks like the pictures, and yet, even a 1,000 times more beautiful. It felt like home, that country. I want to go back.
I'm super jealous. That's on my list of places to go one day.
Oh yes, Switzerland is gorgeous too. It would be #3 to me in the world. First would be Santorini, second Australia (but I am biased), and then Switzerland.
Absolutely gorgeous pics! So did you try the coffee w/maple syrup thing yet? :) I had it first in Vermont and it's so yummy... I usually put it in as a treat.
these images are exactly how i dream about the perfect greece holiday, white buildings & blue sea! your images are so gorgeous, that view from your villa? To die for! i can sit there all day!
Did you have an opportunity to go sailing while visiting Greece? I seriously could live on a boat near the islands and never miss my cell phone, laptop, or car. : )
Wonderful pictures and a sweet couple. Thanks for dropping by. It's nice to know someone reads my post, though my English is not good enough. Mind if I add your blog on my list? Happy Valentine's Day!
Your honeymoon pics look gorgeous. I definitely want to go to Greece some day. Ironically, I just watched Mamma Mia and that put me in the mood to go there even more. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I love my new tote bag as well.
All photos, layouts, and illustrations are by me, unless otherwise stated. If you would like to use any of my images, please contact me at cityofdionne@gmail.com.
I love sour candy and dark chocolate (desserts are a weakness of mine). I love meeting new people and reuniting with old friends.
Leftovers for breakfast are the best, especially cold pizza; and I've learned that in life, you can never go wrong with a cupcake. I thrive on creating and sharing and being part of anything beautiful.
I love the beauty that God has made in this world and finding that beauty in the most unpredictable places.
